The men's volleyball section of Panathinaikos "throws" into the European battles with Spartak Miyava as its first opponent, on Tuesday, October 11 at 8pm. (Cosmote Sport 6).
The “greens” who have been in Slovakia since Monday morning (10/10) start their official duties with a European match and even away at Mestska Sportova Hala.
Last season, in the return of the “clover” to the European competitions, the athletes of coach Andreopoulos managed to reach the semi-finals of the Challenge Cup, marking a great course.
Τhey will test their strength against the Slovakian team, hoping for a good result that will put them in an advantageous position for the second leg in OAKA, on Wednesday 19 October at 6.30pm.
The Panathinaikos libero, Dimitris Zisis, said about tomorrow’s match that: “We start our official duties with a European game and we should be as efficient as possible in all areas and leave Slovakia victorious. Certainly the team had some injuries and we were not able to work together for a long time, but I am sure that step by step we will reach the desired level”.
