The women's volleyball team of Panathinaikos played decimated as it missed its three main foreigners due to Covid, however it still looked Tenerife in the eyes and bent at the tie break with 2-3.
PAO managed and is in the qualifying game despite the fact that it played with teams it has never played before and showed that it is alive for Tuesday’s rematch in Spain.
Panathinaikos started the match with not the best possible conditions as their three foreigners, Jennifer Cross, Margarita Stepanenko and Maret Grothoes, were diagnosed with Covid.
